Invasion and Planet Breaks; Hard dance and urban music… At all club events these days hard dance or trance main room come hand in hand with a funky house/Electro room tucked away somewhere. You could say the same with Hard dance and hardcore there partnership has become a natural one over the last few years… Invasion has grown up away from the city and amongst a smaller community over the years from its birth; most of the DJs and the promoters involved have spent many weekends bouncing round raves in the middle of now where. We’ve worked closely with promoters and DJs who play all different styles of music mainstream and urban. By teaming up with Planet Breaks we’ve managed to give our events a completely different edge. 4 rooms of Music, all the main names of Hard dance, Trance and techno grace the decks upstairs for Invasion, Invasions 2nd Room always provides the best sounds of up front electro and house. Then there’s the cellars… Planet Breaks are always laying on an amazing line up of the best urban music talent going, ranked the UKs number one urban event by Mixmag! Hip hop and Break beat DJs, the scratch perverts being regular visitors, Live hip hop Bands, human Beat boxers and much much more!! Having the two events two together brings 2 different crowds together and the two crowds mix perfectly! Everyone always comments on the friendly vibe all over the venue. Finally.. The 4th room, planet breaks always hosts the best flavours in Drum and Bass in there back room just to finish of an astounding selection of music across the whole venue.

 

The events have grown in size and quality dramatically since Invasion and Planet Breaks success in Ibiza! And it just won’t stop!!

 

So in February we aim to blow the venue away once more! With a few more new friends joining the party!

 

Upstairs, Invasion will see the return of Anne Savage and Adam Sheridan. They’ve both played before and as you all know they never fail to rock the party! Joining them on the night will be Invasion residents: Cheadle and Hubby, Jon Harvey and Dene no Rhythm

 

Invasions 2nd room upstairs will be hosted by “Clubbed Up”, Clubbed Up was originally a radio show hosted by Nice Guy Danny, its amazing success on the radio has lead Danny into taking his brand to clubs across the country!! Sundissentail, Polysexual, B2T, Storm and many other well known events, playing some of the best up and coming talent from all over the country in the room that every club has that likes to say “Lets fuckin have it!” So we’re honoured to have Danny and his gang on board for this event.

Planet Breaks, along with the Planet breaks residents delivering those tasty breaks and hip hop beats, plus the 4th room screaming with Drum and Bass! They are also bringing C2C across the water from France. To show us what turntablism is all about! Being 4 times DMC world team mixing champions these boys know there stuff!

 

C2C was born in 1998 from the meeting of 4 French Dj's : Greem, Atom, Pfel and 20Syl. Member of an emerging movement called "scratch music" (or turntablism), this crew keeps working on finding original sounds and knows how to benefit from its technical control to put forward some musical quality which makes its identity. Each member uses his turntable as an instrument, recreating in turn drums or bass guitars, scratching a riff of guitar or shearing the brass... to lead to a general harmony such as bands made up of instruments known as "traditional". C2C has obtained in September 2006 its fourth DMC team world champion title in a row.
