The word is out – TIËSTO is coming to London, in association with LoudSound - and the hype is building fast. The stage has been set for his only English gig of the year at the stunning Alexandra Palace – a venue usually reserved for rock ‘n’ roll megastars and multi-arena dance events. And there’s only one DJ in the world who could possibly befit such a magnificent venue…

Within just 7 days, over 25% of all advance tickets for this exclusive date have sold out. Tiësto’s Elements Of Life Tour Launches! – Videos Online Now!

 

Saturday 16th March saw the world exclusive launch party for Tiësto’s Elements Of Life world tour which took place at Amsterdam Airport, Schiphol the first event of a 30 date - plus tour that will see Elements Of Life hit Europe and North and South American before the end of 2007.

 

With 2,000 advance free tickets distributed to fans through [a href=http://www.tisto.com" target="_blank]www.tiësto.com[/a] amongst other Dutch media the launch party location was shrouded in mystery up until the final week of event ensuring maximum hype surrounded this global launch party and with the world’s media in attendance this had all the right elements for one hell of a show and in true Tiësto style the biggest DJ in the world did not disappoint.

 

Located in a new baggage area just outside of the main section of Amsterdam Airport, the event kicked off at 10pm with a 45 minute warm up performance from ‘Elements Of Life’ album collaborator Jes (Motorcycle) who performed a selection of tracks from her new album that paved the way for the main event... following 10 minutes of silence a 5 minute presentation on the Elements Of Life showcase began featuring tour dates, visuals of previous Tiësto shows and snippets of new album tracks and classic Tiësto such as ‘Just Be’ and ‘Flight 643’ paving the way for Tiësto to take to the decks and launch into the show with the first track from the new album ‘10 Seconds Before Sunrise’

 

What followed was four hours of pure Tiësto at his best. On home turf and celebrating the launch of his new album and tour it was clear to see the man was enjoying himself as he took the crowd through an effortless journey of deep groovy house music through progressive house, uplifting and just plain having it trance.

The Elements Of Life World Tour hits the UK on Friday March 31st at Kings Hall, Belfast and Friday April 20th at Alexandra Palace in London, with two more dates scheduled for Scotland and Dublin in June this will be your only chance to see Tiësto in the flesh before March 2008!
