CTW Members jacksonj Posted March 20, 2007 CTW Members Share Posted March 20, 2007 Spin Out Records Richard Dinsdale ‘She Wants Me’ Well, 2006 was a mighty fine year for Richard Dinsdale…after various releases on some of House Music’s most influential labels (Global Underground and Toolroom to name but a few), being hailed as ‘Leader of the New School’ by i-DJ magazine, and securing himself a new residency at Ministry of Sound, that tots up to a pretty damn good run. And its set to continue for Mr. Dinsdale as he launches into 2007 with another string of fine releases, and we’re happy to report that the first one is through our very own label (You might know it…). The original starts with a relentless jackin’ electrified beat that meets with a massive bassline to build into a house track that just goes and goes. Using a robotic female vocal alongside electronic bleeps and tweeks it builds into a peak with a clever use of a classic disco sample. This is gutter house at its best, industrial clicks and scrapes on top of rumbling sub bass that will send any dancefloor into a frenzy. Si McEvoy comes in with the first remix and takes the tempo up a bit, bringing a more for to the floor vibe using stabs and a gritty bassline to build the energy. Glitching the vocal to good effect, the track pounds along until the second breakdown where suddenly it shifts up a gear, rising and rising until dropping into a simply huge sub-bass that is guaranteed to tear any club to pieces. Finally, Mr. Meat Katie comes in with his inimitable Tech Funk filth taking the track to a much darker dimension using techno elements to compliment the electro vibe. The bassline is the main focus of the track pumping out pure unadulterated heaviness from start to finish. Still using the disco stabs from the original, the track grinds along at an express train pace, smashing everything in its path to pieces. Make sure the soundsystem is insured and the people are wrecked….then turn it up and enjoy! ‘She Wants Me’ is available to buy on Vinyl from all good Vinyl stockists and all our digital partners from the 12th March 2007. https://www.beatport.com/ http://www.djdownload.com/ http://www.junodownload.com/ *LOOK OUT FOR OUR NEW WEBSITE – COMING SOON – FULLY EQUIPPED WITH Mp3 SHOP!! * For more info see http://www.spinoutrecords.co.uk http://www.myspace.com/spinoutrecords http://www.dontstayin.com/spin-out-records.
