Check their ratings, if they've got a good rating then you can trust them or something like that.

I buy the whole time from there and am gonna be selling loads soon. I just bought an album tho, sent my payment by paypal and the guy refused it. Just trying to find out why from him.

 

So far its the only bad experience i've had from ne1 on ebay

I've just been trying to bid for a DVD/VCR combi thing and everytime I enter a bid it says someone has bid higher. There must be someone who looks at the thing 24/7...makes no sense to me. Have given up.

Thats because someone has probably put in a MUCH bigger bid than you.

 

If the current bid showing is £5 and someone has bid a maximum bid of £50 it will still show the minimum they will be paying.

 

If you come along and bid £10 then you will be automatically outbid by the person with the £50 bid unless you bid higher than their maximum bid.

 

Does that make sense?

thats what im having doubts about, OK it will only be stuff like DVDs & CDs, but whos to say there gonna be originals/perfect when i receive them

Its fun bidding on stuff just to bump up the prices though, and if you get a winning bid when the time runs out, you dont have to pay anyway, you just get a bad rating.

Just look at peoples ratings like someone else said.   If they've sold hundreds of items and never had any bad feed back theres not much chance of them screwing you becuase most likly they're using it like a business and a bit of bad feed back from you is really going to fuck them up.

I've used it a fair bit, and i have had one bad experience, for a dvd. So i bombard them with about 20 emails a day asking for my dvd. I will get it one day!
