After consistently staging some of the biggest and most spectacular indoor arena events ever seen in the UK, we at last venture outdoors on 29th-30th June into the glorious English countryside to do what has been missing for too long….

 

Complete with outdoor stage, 6 big top arenas and 2 days of camping, this is a weekend of green fields, blue skies, summer sun and dancing to the music you love.

If you like the harder edge of dance music you have truly found your Sanctuary.

 

We’re taking the original ethos of the early 90’s, where our music originates from, and putting it into a modern format – a 21st century rave festival with the technology and production standards to boot. If you’ve been to any of our recent shows such as Westfest, Tranz-mission or NYE-NEC, you will know what to expect. Millions of pounds of the very latest in sound, light, video and laser equipment, this time housed within huge big top tents rather than being inside one of the usual indoor venues.

All our know-how and experience of bringing you the very best in all-night entertainment is being transferred into an outdoor environment this summer for this very special gathering – an event that has been 10 years in the making.

 

It has taken dedication, patience and time to get to the stage where we feel qualified to unleash our first outdoor festival, an event that has to live up to the high standards we have set up to now. Years of staging huge events all over the country has brought us to this point, we’re now ready to take it to the next level.

 

The venue we have chosen for our first outdoor experience will need no introduction to many of you. This brilliant site, situated in genuinely beautiful English countryside on the edge of the South Downs, has in years gone by seen some of the biggest dance music festivals ever seen. It’s tried and tested, and perhaps more importantly, its’ natural bowl shape allows superb sound levels, unlike many festivals where you can barely hear the music due to noise pollution issues.

 

For once, within this natural sanctuary, the music you want is centre stage. No longer are the harder music styles mere add-ons at a festival, this time they are the very centrepiece of the entire show. For the first time this century you will be able to see your underground heroes headlining on a massive outdoor stage, there’s going to be nothing like it!

 

To camp or not to camp? The choice is yours. Many of you are going to want to make a weekend of it, to make sure you don’t miss out on anything that is going to take place on this historic weekend, to soak up the whole atmosphere of the show – weekend camping tickets are the way to go for you. Those that can’t spare a whole weekend, or aren’t into camping, can come on the Saturday for the main event. With doors opening at 2pm in the afternoon, you’ve got a full 16 hours to enjoy one of the best events of the summer!

As voted by you, the UK’s number one Hardcore DJ & Producer steps up alongside superstar MC Whizzkid for what promises to be one of the sets of the entire show! Expect to hear Darren’s latest exclusive tunes, plus a selection of the classics that made him the most sought-after DJ in the scene, and if you’re really lucky, perhaps even a guest appearance on the Mic from the man himself.

 

DJ HYPE & MC FEARLESS

Both legends within the drum & bass scene, being there right from the start to present day, and both residents at all Slammin’ events for the last decade, it’s only fitting that these 2 guys should grace the outdoor stage for this monumental event. Hype will be mixing and scratching it up on 3 decks as only he can, backed up by one the best crowd-hyping MC’s ever to pick up a Microphone – Fearless.

 

DJ SY & MC STORM

Another Slammin’ resident since day one, we believe Sy has played at virtually every one of our events, from the seminal Rhythm Station, to the legendary Milton Keynes Sanctuary, through to the modern day megaraves such as WestFest & Tranz-mission. He’s lasted this long because he’s simply one of the best of all time. His partner on the night MC Storm has won the Best Hardcore MC title for the last 4, yes 4, years running. Enough said….

 

PROTEUS

Finnish madman and Hard Dance DJ extraordinaire, the best export from that country since Vodka touches down in the UK to show us why he has been voted Best Hard Dance DJ in the world for the last 2 years running. With an outrageous stage act and a boxful of world exclusives Proteus definitely lives up to his headline billing.

 

FRICTION & MC EKSMAN

Rapidly becoming the most talked-about DJ & MC combination in Drum & Bass, these guys have risen up the rankings from virtual unknowns to must-have artists in a remarkably short space of time. Friction is a master behind the turntables, with a style and technique second to none, whilst Eksman has been doing damage on all the biggest dancefloors with his rough, rugged and raw vocal delivery. Get ready for one of the heaviest sets of the night!

 

MARK EG

What more can we say about the man, the DJ, the legend that is Mark EG!? A rave institution since time immemorial, we couldn’t leave him out of this one!

Known for his on-stage antics as much as for his music choice, Mark explodes into action and lights up the stage right from the off, absolutely unique and unmissable.

 

HIXXY & MC SHARKEY

The guys behind the massive-selling Bonkers album series join up for the first time in years at one of our events. Between them, this pair have guided Hardcore through the earlier darker days into being one of the biggest music scenes in the country right now. Get ready for partytime as Hixxy’s sheer turntable talent and Sharkey’s manic crowd-pleasing vocals combine to blast out into the countryside.
