( London ). “The concept for Freeformation was born at the launch of our 300% Nu Energy CD. We held the launch at London’s Cyberdog clothes shop. Not knowing how the response would be we put out some fliers and spread the word on the street. Along came the night – in came the massive! To our total shock we had over 300 people turn up to show their support and rock the house! The whole of our crew had such a good time that Kevin Energy went straight to work on a new strategy! ‘Having a free party is the best thing we have done’ were his words. After a few weeks of planning and devising a concept – ‘Freeformation’ was born. Kevin joined forces with Sharkey to host this free promotional night, A Formation of the Collective’s finest talent and Freeform music of all forms – Breakbeat, Hard House / Trance and Hardcore. The *Ting* was crazy enough to let the NEC massive invade the Purple Turtle in Camden for the first party. The result! A rammed and up for it venue with a constant que for the whole night! Now were cookin’!! Why are we doing this? Simply for fun! We love a good party and have lots of talent to offer. We're sick of going out to the same sound and dancing to the same beat! The vibe at our parties offers something different and fresh music. All you need to do is turn up and go crazy. As a promotional name, Freeformation have hosted rooms with other big nights including Frantic, Hardcore Heaven, Tasty and their own themed parties at Hidden in London have always been sold out! Other nights in the not too distant future will include HTID in the Sun, The Hardcore Weekender and most importantly our northern connection Vibealite on May 4thâ€. Vibealite Presents……Tomorrows World, Tomorrows music, today. This month we see another mash up of underground styles ranging right across the board. This event is not to be missed. First up we welcome Simon Underground as he starts his new bi-monthly residency with us. Simon is a key player in the Hardcore Techno scene, a true veteran, an inspiration to us all. His record shop ‘Underground Music’ ( http://www.thehardstore.com ) has been THE main supplier of this music for the whole island for as long as I can remember. His work with The Suicide Squad from back in the day gives him a legendary status in my eyes. This guy is the UKs answer to Lenny Dee. You may have seen Simon Underground play at any of the following UK parties from 92 onwards…. Hellraiser, Nosebleed, Steam, Death Row Techno, Species, North and Helter Skelters Technodrome. . You can now catch him playing at some of the biggest partys in Europe too but what you have to respect is that he still finds the time to stay true to this scene by continually supporting the smaller parties too. He’s definitely in my top 3 Hardcore techno DJs in the UK at the moment. Next up is the Deathmachine ( http://www.deathmachine.co.uk ), my first chance meeting with this guy was when he joined our Species residential team in Manchester where we created some of the Hardest Hardcore Techno club events the UK has ever seen. This hard work payed off for him as he has gone on to play some of the biggest events I have seen for this genre including huge parties in Holland and France. His productions have become honed over the years, incorporating more and more energy and production skill leading to releases on some of the world's most respected industrial hardcore labels like ‘rebel scum’ and ‘deathchant’. His unique style began developing….. He combines furious breaks and edits along with dark basslines and heavy kicks. Deathmachine has become one of our most requested guests for Tomorrows World and he is well on his way to achieving a permanent position with us…….. watch this space. Our next guest is a UK exclusive in the name of DJ ScuL ( http://www.scul.net ). Founder of www.globalhardstyle.com one of the largest websites for hardstyle music the world has ever seen grossing more than 7000 members from around the world. This is going to be his first appearance in the UK and he is generating a hell of a lot of interest. ScuL spins at most of the big parties in Holland, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Poland and Switzerland at events like Defqon, Qlimiax, Sensation and Decibel. Despite his age he is one of the fastest rising stars in the Hardstyle scene. ScuL is also the founder of the Global Hardstyle record label which is a label you should be watching out for if you’re a fan of this music, fusing productions from the likes of Audio Damage, Brainkicker, Dizmaster, Hardstatic and loads more. Scul is looking forward to his UK appearance and I have no doubt in my mind that he will destroy the Tomorrows World room in May. You can expect to see a lot more of this guy in the UK in the near future. Next up is Welsh Hardstyle duo Fattman & Ice ( http://www.djfattmananddjice.moonfruit.com/ ). These guys are renowned for playing the hardest side of hardstyle and for their nutty antics behind the decks playing at events in Wales and England. They have now become resident Dj’s for Psykotik, BPM, Entity (Bristol), Spunky (Hereford) and Dark Day Promotions (Bristol) to name a few. Other than just playing at their residencies they have also played at events such as Bionic (Evolution / Lakota), Re:Birth, Totally Ardcore, Subsonica Tour (The Tall Trees), Absolute Hardcore (Lakota), Radical Technology aka North (Lakota), Benefizrave Bremerhaven (Germany) playing to 6000 people and many more. Ever since their set was aired on Screamer Hardstyle Radio back in nov06 they have had a growing fan base across the globe having interest from promoters from S.Africa, Australia, Brazil, USA as well as many others within the EU. Ice has been producing since 2003 and is responsible for creating hit tracks such as Heart Attack (DJ Ice & Vandall - Trancewarez) and DJ Ice Jamaican (GBH Records) which have been played by some of the most reputable Dj’s within the scene. Fattman & Ice also known as Hardstyle Detonatorz have forthcoming releases on a UK based record label Contact records. They have their tracks supported by Nino Pipito (IT), Matt Handy (UK), Alex Kidd (UK), Audio Damage (AU), DJ Millo (IT), Cally & Juice (UK), Kutski (UK), Marco Vortex (IT), DJ Extreme (IT), Nutty T (UK), Rush GBH (UK), Dan Baker (UK) LED (IE), Brain Kicker (FR) Dj Proteus (FI), Rascal (UK) and M Zone (UK). i hope to see some of you there...
