you need webspace - about 80-90mb for mp3 80min mix or 30mb for a wma (windows media) 80 min mix. You also need enough bandwidth to cope with it all.

say if you have 90mb bandwidth allowance/month you will only be able to let you mix be downloaded 3 times if its wma. 90mb divided by 30mb = 3 downloads.

If you are after hosting and shit loads of data transfer/bandwidth then try these people (dont go to a UK company/server!)

www.ipowerweb.com - simply the best one i've found and currently ranked #4 in the world. i now have a dedicated server from them for ctw and other projects

www.proto-host.com - piss easy to set up and probably what the average person is after

In the UK I was paying £180 a month with a reputable company - I can have the same box + shit loads more data transfer (but based in the US) for $50

go figure !

UK is a complete rip off. I can imagine a few companies here are going to have a very nasty wake up call in the next few months !

That said the best UK site I've found is ...

www.easily.co.uk

great for getting started (getting a domain, getting a basic site up, pay as you go)

... but beware as chris says its really the data transfer/bandwidth which will kill you - which is why i've switched over to ipowerweb - 500 GIG a month!!!!!!!!!!
