CTW Members transylvanian14 Posted March 9, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted March 9, 2004 I know that New Order is supposed to be the ultimate and first ever house music group, but apart from a couple of dodgy tunes from Prodigy, ie. Charlie, nothing came close to Renaissance in the early 90s. Sat at Uni monging a treat and listening to Sunscreem - Perfect Motion, that's the life... CTW DJs LiamStyles Posted March 9, 2004 CTW DJs Share Posted March 9, 2004 I think there are quite a few djs/producers out there that would strongly disagree with such a statement. CTW Members transylvanian14 Posted March 9, 2004 Author CTW Members Share Posted March 9, 2004 Maybe, did you ever listen to those Hardcore Ecstasy, Heavenly Hardcore, etc.. albums then? Or are you referring to something earlier than that? What is the first most epic house track then other than New Order?
CTW DJs LiamStyles Posted March 9, 2004 CTW DJs Share Posted March 9, 2004 QUOTE (transylvanian14 @ Mar 9 2004, 19:49) What is the first most epic house track then other than New Order? Thats just purely opinion, not fact. What you may consider epic - i may not. But there were alot of house records out before and around new order. CTW Members transylvanian14 Posted March 9, 2004 Author CTW Members Share Posted March 9, 2004 Agreed. Things did happen in Golden in Stoke that made their own impact. What was the first proper club after Hacienda then?

CTW Members transylvanian14 Posted March 13, 2004 Author CTW Members Share Posted March 13, 2004 Liam - respect, sorry for being away for a while. Been out for some beers tonight so thought I'd make an appearance. We need some words of wisdom on some relatively commercial music from you?
