I would LOVE to give up smoking if it were only easier done than said.

 

One reason I won't give up smoking is because I am scared of how much my weight would increase. The weight I am now is what I am happy with and would not want to be any bigger !

 

ALTHOUGH, it does get up my nose (no pun in-tended there !) when, lets say im in a pub and it's just fueld with smoke (I used ot get really ill when sat in a pub with loads of smokers), or in a resturaunt when eating and others have finished their food they light up a cigarette ! I am someone who does this, but when the tables are turned it isn't very nice.

 

So, I think in some places smoking should be banned.

i have no problems with smokers (it's a great tax) as long as i don't have to suffer the worst smell in the world to me which is cig smoke.

Lets add my point in this matter.

 

As ive said before on here before,

Smoking is a totally disgusting habbit and to have other people dirty ciggy smoke around you in public places is just awful and abusive to non-smokers.

Ban it now people and that would be the best thing this government could do for a long, long time!

cigarettes where the smoke rises up towards the top of the room

i smoked for 8 years babe,and ive been a non-smoker for 3 years

(yes i know i started young )

i actually gave up on the 2nd of january after caining in all new year and new years day too,i thought "oh i just dont fancy one at the mo"

and ive never smoked since. i think the thing is is to not put pressure on urself,just say u dont fancy it right now but if u want to u will.

i also worried bout gaining weight,but i didnt at all.

smoking for me was just a habit,just something i had tuned into me...

i have a beer=have a fag...

after eating my dinner=having a fag....

on a break=fag.

its all about changing the habit.

Revenue!!!   There is so many things on this planet, that we do as humans, that pollute etc, yes peeps are trying but when will it ever stop, when it's too late I feel!!   but as a smoker, I dont agree to total banning as Tony suggested, but I do agree with certain places being non-smoking & designated areas for smokers, as I appreciate it is not nice for non-smokers

dont you roll your eyes at me madam!!! Yeh, I know we should do our best, prevention is the key, but there aare still lots out there that dont care!! Cure is a big word hon, cant even cure the common cold, but as you say prevention.

 

Things like the atmosphere etc, thats is too late, damage is done, but we can try to prevent it getting worse, as for kids in the future, well, I hope, there is hope for them!!

damage to the atmosphere can be repaired as long as we stop damaging it further. as for curing he common cold, i think you have more chance of world peace than that!
