Smoking & smoking in public places

i did say 'not cure but prevent further damadge', i know a cure is never gonna happen.

 

i know ther is plenty out there that dont care, but that just comes down to ignorance, i know, my grandparents are guilty of it.

 

prime example........

 

my local council have provided stack boxes for recycling 3 diferent ones, clearly marked, no need to wash anything, dont cost him a penny.......my grandad dont use them because of ignorance, he dont see he dont see why he should help the enviroment becuase hes only gonna be around for a few years.....great attitude to take

 

just imagine if everyone thought thought this way.......what a pleasent, clean, safe world it would be

woah steady tiger, I did say im in agreement with you Lou. I try to do my bit, I use roll on deoderant, have a recylce bin etc & as you say if everyone took that extra few mins to recycle etc & thought about it, yes we could possible sort it out, but unfortunately as you say, some peeps choose to be ignorant

i was on the train yesterday on my way to go and see nic and this guy sat behind me that stank of stale fag smoke. I was gaggin and really wanted to tell him to fuck off cus he stank!!

 

I know we shouldn't tell them not to smoke, but when it infringes on other people i think it needs to be sorted out. I mean you wouldn't take a crap in the street for everyone to watch, you would go to the toilet and do it in private. I think smoking should be a bit like that. You have to go to a particular area. That way people are smoking when they want too and it's not offending anyone else. Has to be give and take on both praties here.

 

Saying that banning smoking in resturants is a good idea. Nothing more fowl than eating and having smoke in your direction. Makes me laugh how they have one side smoking and one side not. What do they expect the smoke to do, notice the divide and go "OOOOOOOOOOOOO i can't go there, no smoke allowed". Although if i remember correctly banning smoking in resturants means it gets banned in pubs and clubs as they are under the same license scheme.

but yes restuarants etc & im a smoker & in agreement, as for the smell on peeps, well unfortunately yes it stinks, but so do alot of other peeps from other scents, be it BO or cooking smells, cant be helped, until they wash their clothes & themselves!!

think about it hun. i mean no one would want to see you take a shit would they as well it would make them feel sick and all that. Just like no one wants to see you smoke cus of the smoke and smell etc. get my point?????

 

Aye but with smoking as they smoke that smell is usually there all the time as they smoke at home etc. so it's everywhere, it has a nasty habbit of doing really well to stick to ya clothes. Like when you get home from a night and and you smell ya clothes and that stale smoke.
