CTW Members Stu Posted March 11, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted March 11, 2004 (edited) I plan to do a set at my College next term - obviously its posh gimps who have no clue about music. They have to recognise the tunes, but i want it to be better than the usual shit they play. Suggestions please? in no particular order, just to get the ball rolling... 1. David Guetta - Just a little more 2. Layo & Bushwacka - Love Story 3. Donna Summer - I Feel Love (Plumps remix) 4. ??? CTW Members Mr Happy Posted March 12, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted March 12, 2004 thinking about it, theres shit loads of clubs tracks that have had extencive play on radio one on data records (things like storm - time to burn. i'm sure theres a funky track or too on that label) and MoS' label (shudders, but if you need to scrape the barrel). i think the labels deffected and loaded has had a few tunes make the top 40 as well. CTW Members big_ee69 Posted March 23, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted March 23, 2004 get the Finally a love story - kings of tommorow re-mix if u'r going to steal love story off kazza...it was a bootleg so never played on radio. it's all over kazza, and it's the best version. Love story itself was released on vinyl , and in many incarnations also for more cheesy funky house throw in Michael Jackson Vs Bushwacka - Billie Jean 2002 (Bushwaka Mix) The more funky of the Satisfaction mixes, eg the Christian J Mix, the suggestions of Mr lawrence, and finish them off with some quality eg Peyton - A Higher Place ..The Push by the Plump Dj's to show them what funky house is really all about.
