Here come’s the 7th release on the Contact Recordings label. Tidy’s Jon BW brings you a driving techno funky number called ‘This One’s For You’. This release was featured on the Hard Dance Awards Album mixed by the Tidy Boys.

 

The tough, driving and funk ridden bassline powers through the track with lots of loops on vocals and phased old school stabs. In the break down Jon uses uplifting pads and strings layering up together to give a euphoric build before the driving bassline kicks back in.

The flip of this release is Safe Style by Jon BW and Simon Paul. With Tribal percussion and a nice rumbling bassline the track rolls along before a short break and out of the blue an electro bassline comes up with staggered electro hits and stabs surrounding it. The rumbling bassline comes back in to drive the track along before the break down comes. In the break down a deep rumbling pad line shakes the track with nice pads give an angelic touch before the riff gently creeps in. The breakdown builds and builds with the riff slightly teasing before dropping into the full electro style riff.
