replying to pm's

we already have a quote button in the pm screen. could the 'reply' hyperlink be changed so it replys w/o quoting the original pm?

I think it is good having the option to keep the original pm sent as a quote, as sometimes, you may send the pm say on the Monday & the recipient may not reply til the Friday & if the reply contains the original pm, atleast you know what they are going on about

 

Also as lou say's, highlight & delete it out if you don't want it there, takes all of oh, 10 secs

I too find myself using the quote ALOT when using the PM feature.

 

If I didnt want it, doesnt take me 2 seconds to delete it.

 

It's sooooo easy. Especially when you know how !

my original point was this - we have a quote button AND 2 reply buttons. why not keep the quote as is and use the reply to reply w/o quote

 

so i cant see why your complaining saying u used the quote button alot as i never said get rid of it
