Detailed Board Stats (as of March 2004)

• 321 Total Members have made 29,831 total posts
• 10 are Super Prolific (12,675) at over 20 posts a day 42.48% of posts 3.12% of members
• 12 are Prolific (7,250) at 10 - 19 posts a day 24.30% of posts 3.74% of members
• 61 are Regular (9,009) at 1 - 9 post a day 30.19% of posts 19.00% of members

so 83 could be considered active

the rest 238 are Inactive (897) at less than 1 post a day 3.01% of posts 74.14% of members

The top three posters account for about a quarter of all posts.

i dont think its fair to say that about the less active users as some people use ctw but only post occationally (like bunnykins and tara). they are still the essence of ctw and make the meetups etc, but dont find the need to spam the board like luu and i do

@Tara and @Bunnykins are active by this definition.

+ i'm not saying anything lawrence, i assigned a description to the levels of activity to help to make the stats easier to read.

the stats themselves are facts not opinions. And are there for everyone to see, if they can be arsed to do the maths.. How people choose to interpret them on the other hand, would be an opinion:

And what do you exactually contribute to this site?

If people wanted to look at those statistics they could have looked for themselves.

I'm in fact quite liking the quieter atmosphere here at the moment - its easier to keep track of messages/posts and to see who's really here to come out with us etc.

As stated on numerous occasions this whole experience isn't a 'numbers game' to me (proved by taking the decision to just re-start the board, rather than restore) and we're certainly not in competition with other sites/organisations. In fact, expect to see us working closer with others a lot more in the future.

Also bare in mind that many may not register or post, but many still come on to check what we're up to and still enjoying clubbing with many on here - that is all this site was intended for and the concept continues to work well.

Agree with James, For example Emma(jellybabyuk) rarely posted on the old board, and hasnt posted on this one yet, but she knows who a lot of you are from meeting you at certain events etc, and i'm sure a lot of you know who she is. Like James says, its not a case of numbers.
