Question: Do we really need a "This Weekend" forum ?

but the question remains as to whether a forum is the correct place for this. forums are interactive by their nature. the schedule is not interactive - it's a reference only. as such, a static page (which can easily be updated by a moderator) might be a more appropriate medium for this information...

 

still, this is just my opinion and i could be way off the mark.

I think we've got it about right but I too have this niggling feeling that there are still 1 or 2 forums more than necessary.

 

If in doubt leave it alone for now methinks?

at the moment everything is being dumped into the forums as its the only place sarah and others can update. I'm working on new CMSs (Content Management Systems) so Sarah and others can easily add/update static web pages hanging off the main site - such as schedules, reviews. We are just using the forums as an interim solution - same goes for the photo links.

I think this is an excellent idea for when the site is soted out & i get my copy of Frontpage! Until then, we will have to carry on posting in the Schedule.
