yeh mate, know where you are coming from, but they are like busses. none coe for fucking ages then just as ypou are about to walk home shit loads turns up.

just be patient you are a very good dj and good things will come. I've found taht i'm getting alot of gigs more from a personal aspect (the promoters know my music anyway), but getting down to the promotions and getting yourself know makes a word of difference.

yep thats it, if you know the people you are more likely to get the chance. there isnt alot round here really and i cant afford to keep travelling all over to other places in a bid to get to know people.

im thinking of treating myself to some music software for my bday so may give the production side some time, i cant honestly see the dj route working out and im beginning to feel bad that 90% of the work i get comes from ctw huh.gif

whats there to feel bad about.

you are a ctw dj for a reason thumbsup.gif

yeh i'd say definately get into production, it's what i wanna do as i've got 4 hours of travelling to do a day and it's time wasted. I wanna get a lap top so i can use that time productively. Think it will make the world of difference for the dj'ing side of things for you mate if the production takes off.

I just gotta start saving for this laptop thou....maybe in 2010 for me then tongue.gif

As Tony said, you're a ClubTheWorld DJ, FOR A REASON.

It's places like Wildchild that are good for you to play at.

How do you know there isn't a promoter sitting in the corner of the club, watching you and thinking "he's good, I want to know about him".

Don't give up Phil.

Just expect the unexpected smile.gif

Your a good DJ and im sure you will strike gold sooner or later. smile.gif

Dont listen to them Phil.

Why set yourself up for dissapointment.

Sell your decks, and put the whole sordid affair behind you.

There are some outstanding DJ's on this site, and i mean regular posters not just people who come on to promote themselves.

Faith in yourself is the most important thing i think, that and the desire to want to play....

It does also help knowing the right people tongue.gif

Being a really fit bird would help to

Arse licking might help also
