Club that got you into clubbing

The club that got me into the clubbin scene was Valentino's in Stoke..with its sleezy name it sounds totally shite..n it pretty much lived up to its name the first time i went there..id been to a few under 18s before at a club called "gregs" in Nantwich but it was rough as hell with fights near enuff every night..so i decided to go try Valentino's..

 

i first went there about 3 years ago..it was full of lill teeny boppers luving the vengaboys and remixes of Steps latest numbers..wasnt as rough as "Gregs" though so that was a bonus..it was such a tragic night..they had some shitty lill fair outside where i puked my guts up after goin on the waltzers a few to many times with my mates

 

went bak a few months later in hope that some of the tragic teeny boppers had left thank god they had..but it was still pretty pants..same old wanky tunes as before..we'd had enough..a week later was when we got a taste of the proper music..there was 2 different rooms..the under 18s and next door was for the over 18s so hey we thought we'd try n sneak in next door to escape the scary teeny boppers and trashy music..

 

got into the next room and i fell in love..hard bangin beats and a much more friendlier atmosphere..u had no 12 year olds tryna start fights with you..ok so we probably looked a lill out of place a bunch of 13 year olds minglin with the oldies..but we looked 18 ish when we was all slappered up..we spent the rest of the night shakin our asses with the oldies dancin 2 REAL MUSIC..we snuck in a few more times after that..

 

then most of my mates turned into skateboarders or pop tarts..got bored of clubbing and thought it was much more fun riding around on a piece of wood and listening to westlife..so i stopped goin for a while as i didnt wanna look like a billy no chumz hehe

 

i never lost the taste for the music when i wasnt clubbing though..since then ive always loved my Hard House..my Trance n what not..now days you'll probably see me shakin it in creation or the void in stoke..there aint no steps music or teeny boppers there i can tell ya..or im just in my shitty clubs in my town where sadly there is quite a number of freaks depends how much cash i got.. so thanx to the shitty under 18s parties at Vallies...im a clubbaholic woohoo

I started clubbing back in the rave days, when i used to follow Mickey Finn around the country. Then had a break from it for a few years but returned with a vengenace (and a life)!

Glasshouse in Leeds was the first 'proper' club i went to on my return to clubbing then shortly after got into Sundissential when it was at Uropa in Leeds, i can proudly say that i went to most Sundissentials at Uropa & havnt missed one yet at Evolution where it moved to last year.!

My first club was an under 18's about 4 years ago in Guildford called Empire (it was my first real job to!) it was a joke when I look back at it now but I loved every minute of it when I was there, and although it was under 18's that was deifnetly what got me into he scene, then garage became big and all the rude bwoys exploded and I stopped going, coz like most things revovling around garage they can [censored] any good night up!

U went2 Empire as well? The1 @ the civic hall? Used toB a mixture of happy hardcore and old school. I loved goin there, it was the best night in Guildford and it was under18, I can't believe they've made it in2 a garage nite now .

 

The first real club that I went2 was Slinky's in Bournemouth and it was the most amazing time I've ever had.
