Annoying words and phrases!!!

Is it jus me or do some people have certain phrases and words that people say that annoy you

 

mine has to be "innit" and "random"

 

I was out one week and met a girl who insisted in using those words through our whole conversation, the convo went like this!!!

 

GIRL-- "Innit so strange when you meet Random people and they say totally random cheeky random comments at random points, like i met some random guy in a bar and i said innit nice in hear and he just said something totally random back to me. like innit strange"???????????

 

Does anyone else have any words or phrases they hate hearing people say???

Gotta agree 'innit' is the biggest little garage raver rudegirl sayin ever

 

Also i can't fuckin stand people who say 'Conversly' meaning alternatively .

 

Other cun*ish sayin's are

 

'break a leg for us'

 

people who say 'letuss' instead of lettice' (The Green Vegetable)

 

Theres a load more, but none come to head straight away .

Coupla words n phrases that do my nut in..first of all..when you've lost something somebody will say to you.."where did u last have it" its like if i knew where i last had it..id know where the feckin thing was!..

 

i also hate lill teeny boppers..or scallies who think its "cool" to say "buzzin" "buzz of it" n calling everyone a "nob-ed!" its not knob head..its "nob-ed"..or theyre always saying "wicked" and "aiight"..trying to do impressions of ali g..and failing miserably..that clicky finger thingy..its so so sad

 

i agree with u on the "innit" thing whore..everyone seems to say it..its so said INNIT hehehe

it's misplaced apostrophies which bug me. it seems like such a silly thing to get annoyed about but:

 

"Floppy disk's for sale" etc.

"The dog went to it's kennel"

 

drives me mad...

Oh god maybe u were talkin to the same one i was. Everythin was either 'Random' or 'Scatty'. She used the two words together in practically every sentance.

Ho ho, someone else as anal about spelling and grammar as me ! I try to keep quiet, but it's so hard to stop correcting people ! My favourite is 'you're' instead of 'your' and vice versa. Aaaccck !!

i used to hate people saying yeah it is or yeah it does in the context of this songs rocks, yeah it does, then i started saying it to make fun of my friends who said it, and eventually i started to hang out with a different group and kept saying it in funny situations and now i have become that which i despise
