I hardly think that this was meant to be viewed as an anti-american rant was it?It is after all in the random section is'nt it?

There's a big difference between taking the piss and out and out abuse,and Im sure most people on board are clever enough to realise that.

We still do have the concept of sarcasm over here,and that's how these things should be viewed as such.I guess sarcasms not such a big thing in california at the moment.

Coming from liverpool myself Im quite well versed in coping with your classic sterotypical images,and in most cases I can just laugh it of,and treat it in the good humour it was originally meant.

Its the same as if I'd mentioned the fact that neil's obviously a country bumpkin,of simple folk and with a passion for barnyard animals.(probably true incidentally).

Now is this a slur on good natured east anglians(or wherever it is your from)or a piss take?

As claire dc rightly pointed out,this is a clubbing board after all,its not the UN or the BBC's political homepage,and should be treated as such.

Let's not get all right on and PC,let's leave that to the suits.
