Thought i might aswell put my two pennys worth in. I'm an electrician and manager of the specialist cabling division of my firm by day, and by night i run 2 record labels (which shall remain un named until they're both fully up and running).

One the subject of which, seeing as we seem to have so may technical persons on here that seem to know all about that C++, 32DD, Lava, and all the rest of that computery type stuff , does anyone want to offer their services to build the website for my labels??

If so (which i very much doubt), let me know.

i'm the alliance manager for a company that specialises in accelerated java solutions for mobile devices - my main areas of responsibility are silicon vendors and rich media technologies. it's 'classic' business development, really.

 

i used to work for a (fairly) well-known british company: Psion (the organiser people) where i was in charge of support for north america. i worked for symbian for a bit too.

 

it's interesting, hard work that i do but pretty sure this is not what i want to be doing for the rest of my life...

I'm a Interactive Systems Developer for a company that builds e-commerce interactive solutions, mainly for the bigger bookmakers. We develop web-sites, wap, and interactive TV applications for customers such as Ladbrokes, BlueSquare, Rank.

I'm currently developing the online casino framework which is used on Rank.com's website amongst others. It's all done in Java and XML, with a little bit of TCL thrown in, using Informix databases. Also got lots of experience with C++, some COM, bit of Oracle, and various other shite like perl, Bourne shell, etc.
