Where were you this weekend?

 

I wet to my local club, The Circus, where they were running a club 18-30 sposored nite. It was the worst nite ever, 'Miss Who Ate All The Pies' competition where a bunch of fat birds get up on stage and eat mince pies and chocolate cakes in the quickest time possible to the sound of Right Said Fred's 'Im Too Sexy'. Then when that finished they played the Venga Boys 'The Venga Bus IS Coming'....I left at this point!

 

It was really dissapointing because it's usually a top nite and to think I could have went to another club to see Dee Dee Live on Friday or went to an Ibiza nite on Saturday.

soz to hear that Steve - but if it's any consolotation i still have to suffer crap like that once in a blue moon when i go out with my non clubin mates

this w/end was absoluetely wicked tho - went to the fridge fri nite - and tidy last nite followed by El's chillout party, c past w/end 4 more details but apart from last week one of best w/ends i had in a long time:D

looks like crap nite fell on me too.

after lots of discussions peeps decided to go stoke instead of stayin put in pool. put i hadnt the money or arse to be bothered in going stoke. so I watched 'the other' what a freaking scary movie that is. needed xtra undies before the first hour.

i liked the begining when mr cruise ejects out the shaguar flips over the chopper and guns it down.

Haha you have to be kidding right????

 

I went to a club in Ottawa called Surface. It was fun, but my last house was bigger!! Small enough to be a house party. Everyone in there seemed to be 'lightweights'. The group was so stiff, I thought we were going to be raided. Did someone say paranoia?! I found myself talking to random people to reassure myself that it was in my head. It was all the guys standing at the exit doors (who didn't work there) that freaked me out. Then it was pointed out to me that the strippers from next door were in, and they were their muscle men, keeping an eye on them!! The club was 1/2 empty by 4 am . What's even worse is the club closed at 6!!!!!

 

Anyways, the warm-up DJ, Mr. Needs More Practice, almost had us ripping our own heads off in frustration! The main DJ came on just in time (can't remember his name...), and we of course wound up having a blast!!

 

The club scene in Ottawa is pathetic to stay the least. Ottawa, being the capital, is VERY conservative, and hasn't allowed too many clubs to succeed. They're usually shut down (adding to my paranoia . So, anyone coming over here should stop to see Parliament, which will look rather familiar to you all, call me and I'll take you to some real clubs (see 'Promote Yourself' - Montreal Clubbing.

Ace weekend.

 

My friends Jo and Laura came up from Bournemouth to celebrate Jo's birthday on Friday, so went out and got very lashed, had a very funny night around local bars - buying a round of 20 Aftershocks was not so good though.

 

Saturday was spent in my village pub with my brother and his mates, had a very funny afternoon. Saturday night I went to a local club as a friend was playing a very rare set at the club where it all started for him - again, loads of people were out, and everyone got nicely battered.

 

Best bit - hearing the croud go mental when my friend played his new track.

 

Worst bit - My mum calling me at 11.30 on sunday morning, to tell me my grandparents were visiting, and that they wanted to see me.

I had a quiet weekend (first time in ages) i worked Thursday and Friday but went to my local cheesy club after (only cuz i get a pass ). Then saturday i went bowling and sunday got pissed up the pub! Boring really, but i go to Ibiza next week Yippeeeeeeeeeee!!

Had a very ' straight 'weekend' which is unusual for me

 

Friday night was my uncle's 40th family party, ended up with a family punch up - classy - and lots of people having to be carried home.

 

Saturday went to Harrogate for Dan's cousins wedding, got very, very drunk and ended up snogging a chair

 

Got home late ladt night and am feeling very tired today, can't wait to go home and have a snoggle with my man

 

Won't be out much for the next few weeks, have just got my phone bill in and it is £193

Very worried and don't know how I am gonna pay it, didn't think I used my phone that much !

Had a reasonably quiet Friday night, Saturday nite me and Daddy ventured over to Leeds for Subliminal Sessions (See our post in past event s for comments )

 

The after club was bangin though, just what we needed to end the nite. Suffering from severe sleep deprevation today however...im dreading comedown Tuesday

 

Anyone wanna get me a bacon buttie? I cant be arsed walking to the shop...
