Oh babe, harsh! sad.gif

Don't worry, at least you were honest. That's really mature of you, I'd just panic and lie. Just play down the weed thing if that's what's gonna upset her. And I wouldn't tell her anything else!

Parents, they haven't got a clue about the real world. huggles.gif

you will be a parent yourself, just like i am and no matter how clued up you are you will ALWAYS worry about what your kids are doing (even if you have been there and done it yourself) grin.gif

I know Lou, but I think our parents are that bit older, so panic more easily and tend to listen to the media hype. mad.gif

And I won't be a parent, I don't want children, never have.

parents will always worry regardless, of media etc, it's just human nature, well for most. tongue.gif

I think also it depends on how they led there earlier years too!! If your parent was a child of the 60's & experimented with pot & acid etc, they are prob more likely to be slightly laid back on their kids but if they steered clear etc, then they find it harder to understand & accept smile.gif

The only thing you can do is be honest with her, not in a cocky "yeah so what attitude" giving her that website was a good thing and no doubt she'll find lots more and read them aswell.

Alot of parents haven't got a clue on many things out there from drugs to sex, they don't think it's going to be one of their children doing it (we're all guilty of this at one time or another), whether it be through a blinker'd I don't want to know attitude or 100% unknowledgeable aspect.

There's no rule books out there for us, sometimes I wish there was, other times I thank the lord there's not. wink.gif

Doesn't matter what there upto .. you'll still worry .. unfortunately it comes hand in hand with being a parent.
