both my parents know, first off tried to make me go home was at uni at the time and home was italy!!!

 

got my bro to talk to them initially, then recently sat down and they asked my all sorts of questions to how it makes u feel to how much they are..... as they r both totally against it

 

now mum thinks they should be legalised to make them less dodgy and so they can be taxed

 

shes a strange one!!

 

nice now that they know, its kinda taken a load off

Not sure about the legalisation of them ... yeah you'd know where they were coming from and they'd be "safer" but that would put the prices up big time and you'd then still get the back street sellers.

i dont reckon they should be legalised, at the end of the day they are harmful chemicals

 

drugs affect different people in different ways, one of my friends cant take them because she gets incredibly paranoid and now has realised she has more fun on redbull

 

if they are made legal, and they can be got hold of easily you are goin to have the same problem as alcohol, but at least when you stop drinking you can sleep it off, but pills can have all sorts of mental health problems involved, many people have been on anti depressants, tranquilisers, etc from overdoing it and messing the chemical balance up in their brain

as others have said, she's probably scared and angry because there is such a huge amount of media-generated nonsense about the dangers of drugs.

 

you could use this as an opportunity to educate your mum on drug issues and the importance of harm-reduction?

 

she'll probably be a lot less scared if she's informed.

i had a small drugs chat with my parents a couple of years ago...

 

my mum just made that concerned 'i love you' face and gave me a hug, i sat down with my dad for half an hour, and just told him what i know about em...seratonin levels...body temperature...drinking water...and comparing how typical pub chuck-out and club chuck-out ppl would act

 

not sure if they think i still do em. i think they vaguely suspect......bearing in mind my mum never drinks anything stronger than pineapple juice

My mum aint got a clue, although she went mad when she found a lump of pot in my jacket when i was 18. She wasnt best pleased and a bit upset, and scared i guess. She said 'please dont do it anymore' so i agreed that i would stop. If she knew what else i've been up to she'd go mad.

 

My dad knows, i told him once when we were pissed, and he said he already had an idea, and said to be careful.

 

Although once i was dragged to my dads and quizzed by my dad and step-mum about selling pills. Apparently someone had told my dad i was selling up to 400 a week. Needless to say i laughed in there face and told the to go away in an unpolite manner. Still dont know who told him, but apparently 3 people told him. I was buying pills at the time, but only for personal consumption, so where these people got 400 a week from i dont know.
