Gullible

A comment made by FTB has prompted me to do a post!! Have you ever wound someone up bout it and had them fall for it?

 

I said that they had taken gullible out of the dictionary to my mum and she fell for it hook line and sinker, she said "well thats just stupid, how can they just take a word and say it doesnt mean anythin anymore?" she was quite annoyed that they could do that so i tried askin her what gullible meant and all i got back was "i know what it means, well what it did mean" took me bout half an hour to get it thru to her Still wind her up bout it now

Once round my house mate up a treat.

 

One of my other housemates does TV/Video Production for her degree. She had some fake blood lying round the house, so I daubed it liberally onto my hand, went into the kitchen, let out an anguished cry and fell to the floor.

 

Other housemate comes in, sees me bleeding profusely, shrieks that I've collapsed in the kitchen and races to my assistance. She tries to revive me by hitting my face, and I ignore her. It's only when she starts yelling for my other mates to come and help her that I can't help but burst out laughing. She stormed off and locked herself in room, not talking to me for about two days.

haha.. I'm as gullible as the next dappy blonde but I remember this girl I was with a few years ago would believe anythin you told her..

 

We made her believe that Kebab meat comes from.. yes, A Kebab and if your very quiet you can look round the back of the local chippy and see them all in their pen.. they look like sheep but their left legs are shorter than their right.. makes it easier to walk round the Great Grassy Hills of the Sahara!

 

We nearly had her going on the Godzilla blag too but then that damn film came out an ruined everything...

There was a time once when Man U were on TV instead of corrie and me, my sister and her husband decided to wind her up bout this, knowin that she hates it when football messes with her tv viewing hehe, we were originally gonna ask if she'd watched corrie last night thinkin she'd say "no, there was football on" therefore makin her think she'd missed it but when we asked her she said she'd taped it so after a bit of quick thinkin my brother in law (Joe) said

"David Beckham was in it"

mum - was he?

joe - yeah and Ryan Giggs

mum - really? (seeming quite shocked and a tad excited i think too)

joe - in fact they were all in it, 2 teams!! (thinking she would click on but oh no, my mum never ceases to amaze us)

mum - They WERENT in the rovers were they ??

joe - no, they were on a pitch

mum - ooooh was it a special?

joe - you could say that!!

mum - Did some of the people in the street go and see them then??

joe - At this point cant contain it no more and told her

 

Living proof that there really ARE people like that still around!!

My friend Helen who I work with had one of her friends convince her that she'd met Luis Figo in a pub in Exeter.
