i got 2 B`s last year in photography and textiles! then this year i got a merit in my foundation and now about to start my degree!!!

This is an example of why Soph is a wonderful un-selfish and truly generous person - she always thinks of everyone else rather than blowing her own trumpet - something I aspire to!

 

Always good to never know exactly how good you are - continuous self improvement is the KEY - your work is never done - so long as you keep this in mind and that your entire life you are 'training' they you cant fail.

 

I'm telling you now that Soph will be VERY successful in her career because she has the right ATTIDUDE. Current skills are pretty meaningless - its all about "can I work with this person, can I trust him/her" - for me and my company it is anyway - when I joined I didnt have the years of experience they normally required but I was honest with them and I just 'gelled' with them - this is the key - GREAT WORKING RELATIONSHIPS.

 

I urge you all, unless you are already doing it, to focus on helping others and giving as much time as possible to them when they ask for help - this really pays off - believe me. And please NEVER default to not trusting someone you meet. As I've said before I get HUNDREDS of people telling me I trust far too many people - but I believe I'm different to the 'norm' and as such I DO end up with lots more people I can trust as people remember this. Sure I get myself into [censored] once in a while but it IS worth it believe me. Luckily I have worked at companies with the kinds of environments which suit me and full to the brim of like-minders - everybody helping everybody out - I hope to bring to the CTW table all this experience and more, continually building on the process.

 

Apologies - I appear to have gone off at a tangent again - but LISTEN TO ME - this IS relevant - I brought this whole concept up becuase Sophie Billington posses ALL the qualities I am talking about and therefore by definition WILL achieve EVERY goal she sets herself out to do. She will be MORE successful than me and at 19 years old I think she deserves a round of applause for having this perfect working methodology at such a young age. I only got to this level of thinking in the early parts of my divorce when I decided to re-evalauate everything - not just my current relationsip.

 

On the bad side I think Soph can winge a little too much at times and at the end of the day she's only affecting herself by doing so. I HAVE however seen a big improvement in this and its obvious that it comes from boredom rather than anything else. She works incredibly hard at her local store and to be honest totally wasted, when she is busy at college or trying to organise her new house for uni she is 100% happy and pro-active - this is the soph i know and love and i just cant WAIT for her to start uni - she will blow them all out of the water as she has the focus & direction.
