ibiza Club Listings from Ibiza Spotlight (2002)

Excellent club listings from Ibiza Spotlight - so you can organise where/when you're going. CTW will NOT be going to the 'Garage Heaven' nights!!!

I'll put up my venue intentions shortly. MUSTS for me are...

• Eden
  • Euphoria (Dave Pearce) - BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE last year
  • Tonic (Alex P & Brandon Block)
  • Judgement Sundays (+ pre-parties at Cafe Mambo & Club M)
• Amnesia (not been yet)
• Es Paradis: Water Party
• Pacha (not been yet, and A MUST - note: it's in Ibiza town)
• Priviledge (I personally thought it was too big / didnt like being stuck in the desert with no water / ran out of money but you must go as its huuuuge)
• Space (not been yet, must go after Manumission @Priviledge if you can take the pace - I wimped out last time as it has been 10 nights non-stop)

... and then there are all the free (& excellent) mini-clubs in the main West End section in San Antonio - you can pick up free shot flyers and just walk about getting pissed very quickly - in the streets you meet so many people its fantastic - some of the mini clubs rival bigger clubs over here - the sound system setups are excellent and you get to speak to so many up-and-coming DJs (if you're lucky!). West End is a great pre-party to the super-clubs.

Note: you WILL need plenty of cash for the super-clubs - can cost up to £30 or £40 for some nights and the water - f*ck me - I paid up to £7 in one club last year - so instead I resorted to Champagne (Moet) at £35 a bottle - seemed to be better value for money!!! Note that you can't take bottles into the clubs either.

If anyone knows of any other sites with similar listing let me know, but I think this is the best. Also, when you get out there make sure you get a copy of the free DJ magazine which lists everything you need.

Tonic is a must - should be able to sort something out as Andy Farley is playing there the week im there.

You havnt mentioned Godskitchen @ Amnesia or

Slinky @ Es Paradis - again, should be able to sort as Rob Tissera is there that week also. We may have to provide a link or give the night some publicity though.

16th of September is looking good for me, lot of luverly closing parties !

Eden - never been, seemed a little cheesy, but I'm willing to be proved wrong.

Amnesia - Best club in Ibiza in my opinion ! Went to a local night called Tribe when all the English were at Manumission, and it was the best night of our stay ! Lots of top trance tunage and friendly, up for it people (shame they couldn't speak English !). Also saw PVD at Cream @ Amnesia, another top night .

Didn't go to a foam party. Went to Clockwork Orange, which was pretty good.

Went to the Perfecto night with Oakey, and I have to say it was the worst night we had. The music was good, but the atmosphere was pants ! Too many beautiful people with `Look at me, I', gorgeous!` attitudes, not into the music at all.

Manumission @ Priviledge is good if you like being stuck in a shopping mall with 8000 pissed up beerheads hollering for the sex show, while 50 year old spanish sleaze try to crack on to anything going ..

Space after Manumission was top however, saw Sonique doing her thing, and it blew us all away. Very bizarre queing for a club at 10 in the morning in 40 degree heat ...

Ibiza - the only place in the world where it's easier to smuggle water into a club than drugs ...
