new downlaodable mix

style: starts a little funky, then goes a little proggy before getting harder

 

i'm not gonna bother giving out cd's for this becuase the mixing is shite! very shite!! i was pissed and these were new tunes so most of it was guess work

 

ne ways - the only reason i put this online is because i cant see me ever doing a mix cd of this style (its more the stuff i play at home to chill out too) and i thought you guys might be interested in hearing something a little more toneful from me for a change

I think it's going to inspire me for my next mix to be more techy.

 

I have to say, the standard of mixes on here now is something else.

 

I have downloaded some mixes on other sites and I wasn't sure if people were taking the piss or were genuinely that shit.

 

A favorite was someone doing some garage MCing over some cheesy chart trance.

 

Is there track list? I love the track at around 42'.

 

Out of interest, how did you record it?

 

I use 1210s, Pioneer CDs, Stanton mixer -> audiophile 2496 -> cool edit.

 

I find it works really well for me, but I want to know if peeps do anything else.

i use 2x vestax pdx2000 & a behringer DX 500 mixer. not too keen on the mixer. its old and the faders are on the way out (was very cheep so ive had my moneys worth)

 

recorded it onto soundforge 4

 

the track that starts at around 42 is actually the track i like the least in the mix (mainly because i chose a very bad place to dump it in and mixed it shockingly)

phil - theres only 3 people on the planet that have heard that mix i played you @ majikmans. i dont even have the file for that on the computer ne more
