Guest Jay
QUOTE (Lisa @ Apr 14 2004, 17:10) here is a statement Will frantic made on another site guys! Dear All, Id like to start by apologising to anyone that didnt enjoy the Easter Ball. We have used 17 different venues over the last 7 years and we are always looking for new venues so we can continue to provide a fresh and exciting clubbing experience. Unfortunately its only by doing the first event at a venue that the problems come to light. I must stress that it was never our intention to provide anything other than a great night out. We do listen very carefully to the opinions of clubbers. Id like to answer each criticism: 1) Toilets The queue for the toilets in the first part of the night was unacceptable. Unfortunately 3 cubicles were closed and it took too long for them to be reopened. I did ask the management to make sure the security were allowing women to use the male toilets to try and lessen the problem. There is another set of toilets, but these were out of action as they can only be accessed through the room we had taken over to make a large and more effecient cloakroom. If we could have forseen this problem we would not have used the venue. 2) Heat Im really sorry that some HFasters felt it was too hot. The venue opened doors and shutters by the toilets and by the back entrance to the Trance room to make the venue cooler. Its really disappointing as we originally had the Ministry of Sound booked for Easter Sunday, but moved it as the Main Room at the Ministry always seemed to be too hot. 3) Security As we are aware that security can be a problem at new venues we always take our own member of staff who stands on the door to make sure we can keep an eye on things. The security were friendly and courteous on the front door BUT if any of them behaved unprofessionally inside the venue please PM me with as much detail as possible and I will personally take the matter up with the management of the venue that hire the security. 4) Overcrowding We were working to a capacity suggested by the management. When we reached 100 less than they advised we shut the doors and ran a 1 out, 1 in policy. We do not overfill venues on purpose, but its very difficult when you are using a venue for the first time to get the capacity completely right. Conclusion On the positive side I felt that there was some great music in all three rooms and we were able to get clubbers into the venue and through the cloakroom really quickly and the Bars were quick with friendly bar staff. I had many positive comments on the River Bar. However I accept the criticisms and Im bitterly disappointed that it undermined the night for some clubbers. Id like to offer FREE entry to a Frantic event of their choice to anyone who feels the event did not match their expectations. Please PM me and I will arrange this for you. If there are any other concerns or queries please dont hesitate to -Phone or Text me on 07958 439 581 -Email me on enrages68@hotmail.com -PM me -Speak to me at a Frantic event or in most Harder events in the coming weeks. We work very hard to give clubbers a great night out but we totally accept we have a responsibility to choose venues with great crae and that if they dont work as well as intended to think again. Many thanks for your time, Will respect for that. i am not so miffed now.
