sorry about the seriousness of this, but I thought it was really important.

Amina Lawal of Nigeria has been sentenced to death by stoning for having a baby outside marriage. This is to take place as soon as her 8-month old baby has been weaned.

Amnesty have started a petition to the Nigerian President to save her life. You can sign it at: http://www.mertonai.org/amina/

 

Just think how many of us haev sex outside marriage - this is what this woman is to be stoned to death for!

my anger was aimed at general religion belle no disrespect hun...nor was it at men in general ... it just made me so how can people do that how can they kill the mother of an innocent child because she is its mother ? who hasnt said a few words ! ...but id still like to know ....why is the father not to executed ..
