Hard to believe it was a year ago today eh???

 

just wondered what everyone was doin at the time they found out... i was at [censored] and watchin it on the internet, saw the second plane crash real time on CNN

 

Still make my stomach turn now..

 

Just gonna suggest everyone observes a minutes silence on the board at 1.46

Great idea... I was at home having lunch (I'm a field rep) - saw the whole thing unfold after Neighbours. It was so surreal to begin with - like some kind of disaster movie - then the true horror really began to hit home. I don't believe in a God necessarily, but I pray that nothing like it ever happens again.

I was at [censored] and it came up that something had gone into the pentagon on the BBC news ticker thing on most of works computers. I don't think anyone really realised the scale of it until everyone got home and saw it all unfold on the news.

Shockin stuff.

 

To think that was a year ago today is crazy, time is flying so fast for me these days.

My heart goes out to all of those people killed and the ones that have been left behind by the terrible attack of September 11th

 

Let us also not forget all of those killed around the world that have suffered and been killed by terrorist attcks.

 

I was in [censored] when this happened, and I could not believe what was happening in fornt of my eyes.

 

Let us all hope and pray that nothing like this will happen again, unfortunately I don't think this will be the case as we live in a very sick, sad and twisted world.

I was at [censored] and i watched it all on the internet, it was so sad!! i really feel for all those people who were effected by September 11th, I think a minutes silence would be good, im doing a minutes silence at [censored] at 1:46, i think it should be done on the baord too!

I was at [censored], and our internet connection started to get really slow, then stopped.

 

Then we heard reports on the radio that a small plane had hit a building. Then a bigger plane. Then both buildings.

 

I remember feeling sick when I heard that the towers had fallen down. A minute's silence does sound quality idea though.

I was at [censored]. And remember pretty much every news site on the internet grinding to a complete halt through people trying to find out what had happened.

 

I also remember the feeling of sadness and helplessness that hope I never ever feel again.

I was also at [censored], even at this place it seemed everyone came together within the first half an hour. No one could beleive it. One of the managers was in new york at the time. He could see it all from his hotel. He said he's never felt as much sadness as he did over there

As soon as we found out it was the towers, we tried to get in contact with our offices in there. No luck

 

Thank god they were out all out of town on a course at the time. They were on the 65th floor of tower one.

I didnt actually find out til about lunchtime as was off [censored] on hol & by the time it was 5.00 ish by the time i turned on the radio. Still cant beleive its a year ago tho

i was on a ward i was working on and one of the patients called me over 2 his tv. at first i thought it was an air traffic control accident.

 

my heart goes 2 all the people who've lost someone.

 

it just goes 2 show that we've got 2 enjoy our lives and apreciate the people close 2 us, cos we don't know when it's cruelly going 2 b snatched away from us.

The whole incident was and to be honest its nothin short of fuckin evil & sick.

I didn't find out till I got to w.o.r.k, I was w.o.r.k.i.n.g in a pub at the time and I thought they were playing a movie on the big screen, couldn't believe when I found out what really happened. I really can't believe that anyone could be so evil to plan and carry out something like that!
