If anyone else happens to be going to this, drop me an email and we could meet up! I'm off basically to see what Jules is like, because I haven't seen him before -- at all (not really knowledgeable in the ways of the superstar DJs)! And then Halliwell might be good as well?

Tix are a bit expensive at 13 quid a pop but I reckon the atmosphere will more than make up for it. smile.gif

OK, that's it. Will post back and report all!

Would like to Tom, but am working here in Glasgow, would be interested to try som eother Edinburgh night sometime, so let us know. (though I'm afraid there aren't a lot of Scots on this, but it grows all the time, plus I intend to start adding some that I meet on my travels,

Well well,

Jules did an early set from 11pm. First time I'd seen him, he was OK I guess ... if you like that sort of thing. Not that I'm totally biased against him, because everyone's slagging him off these days, but I just don't reckon that he really deserves to be in the highly revered position that he is. Although he did get a good atmosphere going, I have to admit that.

However someone I was way more impressed with was Mr Halliwell! He [censored] rocked the place! It was noticeable that some bams left after Jules had finished (erm, why bother paying 13 quid just to see him?). Leaves more room for the rest of us, cheers! But there was still enough people on the dancefloor (like, loads). One of the decks broke at 1.30 (yeah nice one Honeycomb) but Halliwell bravely soldiered on till 2 and still managed to make it a good night before Foy came on 2 till 3 (when they magically managed to rectify the situation, yes thanks tech crew, 25 minutes earlier would have been nice). But I was so impressed, especially with that scratching he does!

Top, showbiz, real horrorsho.
