For any one looking for an alternative to hard House...KM is always seriously sexy messy fun...kinda like an ibiffa beach party, but indoord and in London!! First time at Pacha on the 16th Nov...bound to be filled with beautiful people....

(So why is Big_ee going I hear you all ask)

Anyway i think i'm a member, cos they keep sending me member only stuff, and if we get enough people intrested i'll go for a guestlist ting.

Being as most peeps will be off to the nec this weekend If we have an advanced visit, this month, and we like it, perhaps we can make it an official meet up in the depths of January

After five year as regulars on the London Club scene, It is fair to say that Kinky Malinki have finally arrived with a storming night at the top London night-spot that is Pacha.

 

Pacha, is possibly the most interesting venue in London. For a start it has two entrances, the front for VIP Guestlist + Ticket holders and at the back for paying Guestlist, and non ticket holders. Tho KM don't sell advanced tickets for most of their nights, so it was just paying Guestlist for KM members, and non ticket holders. Longest and earliest queue I've witnessed there. As on this occasion only the back entrance was used!! Very polite and courteous door staff both on the KM side, which took some doing as the poor guy's were taking some stick!, and from the house side. No one gets searched too, which is a refreshing change!!

 

Getting to the cloak room through the back entrance means traversing the main dance floor, and you are struck straight away by the glamour, and sheekness of the place. Chandeliers, wood panelling, glamorous is not the word!! That and the horrendous bar prices, Four pounds for a bottle of Beck's anyone!!. Upstairs you find some balconies, and a chill out bar, CHESTERFIELD sofa's for relaxing in and a smaller 'funky' room where the second tier DJ's play their thang. The only VIP area I have ever spotted, is directly behind the main DJ booth, and is open for everyone to see. It basically provides a buffer between the DJ booth and the bar area. I guess Pacha believe that everyone who goes is a VIP, which makes a nice change. A word about the upstairs gents toilets. Best I have ever seen in a night-club, they'd do Harrods proud.

 

The KM crowed were lively, happy and up for it. Sexy glamorous girlies, and boy's dressed up to the nines, they were here to have a wild night and what could have been better than Pacha. Headlining in the main room, the awesome KIDSTUFF (Mark Wilkinson & Paul Jackson) complimented by what can only be described as an absolutely blinding live percussion performance from the legendary Jay--On-Drums. Truly beautiful funky house that had the sexy, dressed up and glamorous crowd dancing as if the night would never end. Jay Friction followed them up for the last two hours with some funked up harder beats whilst Raymondo Rodriguez provided the alternative highlight in the funky room. All in all a night of sexy beats, and funky dreams.

 

It must be said that at 5.30 in the morning when you've been dancing away for 6 hours solid, the feeling of a really comfy sofa, as you drift off, listening to the funky sounds coming from the dance floor is difficult to beat. Just a pity there wasn't an afterpartty to go to. 'Best night-club night I've ever been to' was a comment from one of the peeps that came with me.

 

 

Next KM party will be at the Aquarium in Old Street. With a swimming pool. And where getting wet is actively encouraged, whether clothed, in a bikini, or as nature intended. This is defintely one for all the CTW Funky house lovers, in the new year.
