Too many forums?

As a new member to this board, I find that the vast number of subject specific forums is unnecessary. Many of your forums could be condensed down without losing any of the practical functions of existing setup. Or in my opinion anyway! It just takes too long to browse however many different forums!! For example, whats the differences between the random, smut and jokes forums? Surely they are pretty much the same? A place for random sillyness? And in the clubbing section: this week and event suggestions, whats the difference there? Is it not just saying where your off to nd finding out who else is too?? I feel this can be done all over the site, and in my view, would ease general usability.

 

As a new member, I don't want to come across as telling you how to run your site, I'm just offering my comments and suggestions, to how I think the site can be improved.
