I look after a lady who's 101. She has a glass of sherry every day with her lunch, and at least 2 glasses in the evening before bed. She reads the Telegraph everyday and does the cross word too. We have conversations about what alcoholic drinks we prefer. She's a lovely lady, i can always have a joke with her about things. She'd been told that a couple of the girls who work there were lesbians, she once asked me if it was me. But instead of saying it she said "are you, you know, one of them " and thats the exact hand gesture that she used.

Thank you Its a shame you missed Serious, not sure when i'll be back down there as i start my new job on Monday which means lots of dodgy shifts I may have to start driving into London and leaving early, as i can't not go!!

Don't mean to alarm you, but if she's purple, then you might have been talking to a dead person all this time.

Packed up smoking when she was 80 because she couldnt' afford to drink and smoke ... boy did she enjoy her drinking
