CTW Members FredTheBaddie Posted November 6, 2002 Author CTW Members Share Posted November 6, 2002 (edited) UrbanTorque 8th November Heaven London10pm - 5am Yes, boys and girls, it's that time of month again when the UrbanTorque boys take up their monthly Friday night residency at Heaven in London. This month we've got Justin Chodzko (UrbanTorque), Leigh Morgan (Facedown), Nico De Ceglia (London / FFrr), and Jason Moore (Departure Lounge) bringing you the best deep, funky, and tribal house on the planet. I challenge you to dance to this without a big grin on your face !Not only is this a cracking night, the guys are really friendly too, had a personal email from Leigh Morgan offering us guestlist places ! And last month, Justin Chodzko was handing out free CD's to people on the guestlist. Had a brief chat with him, these guys are really switched on and friendly! This is the kind of night I've been looking for, nights where the DJ's are part of the crowd, not apart from the crowd.Last month was an absolute stormer, all who attended had a really good time. You'd be a fool to miss out on one of the best kept secrets in underground house. These boys are gonna be huge ! You heard it here first. Here's what our members had to say about last month: It was a really good night, we'll definately be coming to the next one. The time seemed to fly by, and it was over far too quickly ! The crowd were really friendly and up for it, and so were the DJ's we met. It's these kind of things that really make a difference, rather than it just being another faceless club night, we felt like we were part of the night. Keep up the good [censored] guys ! - Ray DysartThat was a [censored] [censored] SUPERB night ! Had a great time and I'll definately be passing the word around about how good it was. - Big EE Had an absolutely wicked night. The music was excellent and I was still nodding my head and smiling when I got home! - Nick GForthcoming Releases on UrbanTorque:URTR008: Heroes For Hire 'Colours'Greg Vickers (Tribal Gathering) - 'Love Both Mixes, will be playing the original out' 4/5Paul Woolford (Basics) - 'Just to say thanks for the vinyl on Heroes for Hire, all good stuff' 4/5Stuart Patterson (Soul Sonic) - 'More well lush production that is becoming a trademark of the label, cheers!' 4/5Nicky Holt (Soul Sonic) - 'Quality 12, both mixes playable for me & play them I will!' CTW Members FredTheBaddie Posted November 6, 2002 Author CTW Members Share Posted November 6, 2002 Right then, unless anyone else comes up with a better suggestion we'll meet in the Pitcher and Piano , Charing Cross. We could meet in somewhere like All Bar One or Yates, Leicester Square, but both of these get rammed on a Friday. I'll be in the P&P from about 7:30. See you there ! CTW Members big_ee69 Posted November 7, 2002 CTW Members Share Posted November 7, 2002 Pitcher and Piano is wicked. It's closer to Heaven (the nightclub, not the state of post death being.) than the others. You won't get any hassle getting in wearing clubwear or trainers (like yates'). They don't play shite gay-rage, and as Fred so rightly say's it won't get rammed. big ee
CTW Members FredTheBaddie Posted November 7, 2002 Author CTW Members Share Posted November 7, 2002 Aye. And it's 2 mins away from Charing Cross/Embankment. I'm more than happy to go elsewhere if anyone has a preference ?
