That’s something we hear too much these days. Be it Jaded hindsight or not, The fun has been missing from clubland for a long time now.

 

*Skwosh!* is going to bring it back!

The country's best Bouncy & Uplifting hard house DJs & Producers will converge on Brixton every Friday night to bring you a party to change the face of clubland. This is what Hard House is all about!

We’ll be taking the values of parties such as Afterlife, XLR8 and Sunnyside Up where the *Skwosh!* team learned their stuff and giving you a night of pure carnage!

 

This is not just another Friday night, This IS Friday night!

 

We’ll be using a combination of the best up and coming DJs and the best established national and international DJs. Playing specially requested Bouncy & Uplifting sets.

 

As you will expect there’ll be all sorts of fun and games to be had, with a play area for the Kid in you, free sweets, ice poles & lollies. And free Jelly and Ice cream throughout the night because you can’t have a party without jelly & ice cream!!

 

The venue 3rd Base is part of the Mass complex in Brixton, which has one of the most forward thinking & experienced management teams in London. They’ll be behind us all the way, making sure that your stay with us is as good as it can be.

It has a capacity of 350, the perfect size for a proper party and has a separate entrance, cloakroom, toilets and bar to the rest of the building. We’ll be putting in 12K of turbo sound, Martin lighting, lasers, projections, UV décor and 350 of the bounciest nutters London has to offer! (That’s you!)

 

We don’t think you should pay through the nose for your night out so entry will normally be just £5 b4 midnight & £8 after. With 2 for the price of 1 drinks until midnight to oil the wheels of laughter!

 

To Kick things off however, we’re giving you the opportunity to experience the party for absolutely nothing! Yep FREE ENTRY! All you have to do is one of the following:

 

A. Bring a *Skwosh!* flyer.

B. Email your name to info@skwosh.tk

C. Turn up last minute and tell the door staff a joke!

SPACE SENTINELZ

These two, Scott Skinner and Kaptain. Are responsible for the Twisted Traxx label and have produced some of the finest, silliest, Hard bouncy house there is! As well as playing at top parties all over the country!

Expect nothing but the best tunes and unforgiving energy behing the decks.

 

SIMON THE FIREMAN.

Simon, possibly one the friendliest DJs ever has been on the scene for a few years now. He’s had residencies at XLR8, SunnySide Up, Tronic and is now a monthly resident at Afterlife, as well as playing at some of the best parties London has seen! He’ll be bouncing it up for us, something he really knows how to do well!

 

DEAN PETERS.

This guy knows what it’s all about! From playing all over the country at some of the finest parties, to being an XLR8 resident, to producing some of the best music, including the amazing clubland smash “The Beginning” with the Edison Factor! He’s kindly agreed to play at our launch party and we can’t wait!

 

ALEX PARSONS

Alex is quite possibly the most talented and versatile up and coming DJ on the London scene right now. Playing at a variety of parties over the last 2 years. He’s a resident at Afterlife & Pro-Active for his hard house and now Kurruption for his funky house.

He was the last person to gain residency at XLR8 and played the main room at the fridge just 6 months after starting mixing!

With musical roots, his production is also second to none and is in the process of setting up new record label Tan-Tien Recordings with business partner and manager Paul Galbraith. This guy is quite frankly, the dogs b*****k’s!

 

MATT RUSH

Matt “inside” Rush is as experienced as they come. He was there at the first raves & playing at the best parties since dance music as we know it landed on the shores of old blighty! Matt’s speciality is bouncy silly music! He know’s how to move even the toughest dancefloors and has more energy than the national grid!

Don’t be surprised to find yourself grinning and jumping around like a wonky pogo stick while he’s on!

 

Well that’s the line up for the 9th! I’m sure you’ll agree it’s going to be emotional….
