i really liked 'second trip', hennes and cold have done some good stuff.

hardstyle is like hardhouse in the respect of it has alot of cheesy stuff people associate with the genre but there are quality tunes about.

if you played an out-and-out hardstyle tune next to the equivalent in hardhouse they wouldnt sound anything like each other. yes, there are alot of sub-genres about these days but afterall...its only a name

maybe you should spend less time quoting and more time out clubbing? you might develop a personality.

I've been out with Andy clubbing...

..last Saturday in fact...

He's a nice bloke.. as you are to Stu..

Chill out peeps... smile.gif

all bitching and piss-taking aside. i have to say this i'm impressed with ikon.

his done here exactly what this forum is all about but putting links up to tunes that challenge our preconseptions of x and explains the origins and style of x

plus his been able to come back from other peoples comments and crtiasisums with valid (no personal attacks) constuctive points.

i think you're thinking of "Hard House" - that drives me nuts for exactly the same reason. as soon as ur getting into the kick drum, it stops. then hangs around. then builds up. then pauses for 2 seconds. then bangs off again.

hardstyle have no opinion of yet.

techno (if it's what I'm thinking it is) i love because it just k-e-e-p-s g-o-i-n-g, no breakdowns wub.gif

other than that..

I think I can tell the difference pretty much, especially seeing as I listen to Hard House almost continuously. rolleyes.gif
