Fcuk me!

Ive been offline for 2 days and I come back on today and the message board that I am an Admin on has been literally split in two by some dodgy politics!

 

Basically the site I admin on - UK-Scene.org.uk hosts message boards for underground clubs or underground music based websites such as - Vibealite, Fantasy Island, Species, Eternity Magazine....etc.....etc.

 

Anyways, This year Vibealite decided not to have a Hard Techno room at Fantasy Island on NYE. This prompted the promoters of another night which is hosted on UKS, Oblivion, to organise an event with a few other promoters to include a Hard Techno room. Now the problem is they are putting on this event at The Street nightclub which is in Skegness (where Fantast Island is!), therefore being as it has similar muzik styles, is on for much longer (2pm new years day!) and is cheaper it was seen by Vibealite as a threat and so they have now decided to put on there own Hard Techno/Trance room (the room im playing in). Needless to say this has caused outroar on our boards and on other underground sites!

 

Now on UKS we are a close knit community just like on here - and I know most the people on there and get on very well with them especially the Oblivion boys - I usualy meet up with them at leat 2 weekends a month and I have booked them for my events and they have booked me for theirs so we all know each other pretty well. However, although there not directed at me personally, some of the regular users of the boards and Oblivion regulars have made comments regarding the DJ's that are playing for Vibealite to take a look at themselves....etc...etc

i know they are directed at me because they say that they are dissapointed with 'some' of the DJ's who have agreed to play and because im the only one that know's and hangs around with them it cant be anyone else!

 

How shitty is that eh?? people falling out with ya over something so stupid!

You've got absolutely no interest in Hardcore at all. The only thing you seem bothered about here is losing a little bit of cash. If you gave a @#%$, you'd have left it alone. What kind of promoter, who actually cares for a style of music, decides, at such a late date may I add, to directly compete with another night, on a style of music like this. None. Because you don't @#%$ do it. You know full @#%$ well Hardcore nights purposely avoid being on the same night as one another. There's no money to be made, so what the hell is the point? I know full well what the point is. "Ooo look at us, we are a big organisation, we won't be taking any competition from people who actually care about the music, oh no, we're a mass commercialised organisation, watch as we throw money at something to squash competition, who had no intentions of competing at all". Sad fucks.

 

Did it ever cross your tiny little money greedy minds, that if you intended to do a hardcore room (complete @#%$ btw, you had no intentions at all) maybe having offered it to the people who've already organised one would be a good idea. Because apart from Dolphin, you've got no names on that lineup (and before people call Clarkee a name, the guys a @#%$ sellout joke, who will no doubts try to pass himself off as playing old skool hardcore, because he hasn't been involved in this scene for years). I'd guess that most of the people playing the Rezonate night would have said yes, apart from me of course, who would have told you to go @#%$ yourself.

 

What I want to know, is what you intend to achieve from this? That line up is complete ass. It's a mixture of Residents from Stoke Species and North. Do you think any real Hardcore is going to pay £35 to come and listen to that bullshit? HAHAHA. Your @#%$ crazy if you do. I'm going to do my best to make sure as little people as possible turn up for the Hardcore room. I will spread the word, and make sure your bullshit commercial party is boycotted by as many people as possible. Because thats not hardcore. Not in the @#%$ slightest. For a start there's a bunch of @#%$ Trance in there as well. It's a pathetic joke, which is a perfect representation of just how highly you rate Hardcore. It's @#%$ afterbirth you bunch of schmucks.

 

Oh, and before I miss a point I've already brought up. North. Why doesn't it surprise me that @#%$ Bowlers involved. Yet another money grabbing, dirty handed little @#%$. Go on you bunch of sticky fingered fucks, all play hand in hand. Dance the commercial dance. Does anyone really need confirmation how little Hardcore actually means to Bowler now huh? Does anyone need any more proof on how he intends to just milk this scene for whatever he can get? Just look at the Christmas Party again, my what a great line up, Drokz AGAIN. Combined with his dirty handed tricks all year, his closing of the only open forumed list for North so he doesnt hear peoples opinions and his sleeping with Happy Hardcore promoters, thats the end. Why don't you just put on the flyers "Give me your money". Whats wrong Bowler, can't afford to buy your kids uniforms for the new term in January? Yeah Yeah. You're raking it in.

 

I've got a suggestion for you. I'd suggest reviewing your policies, and whether doing this room is a good idea. Because you aren't going to make any money from it, and you sure as hell won't be respected by the real hardcore anymore. I'd also suggest, the DJ's playing on the night, take a good long think about what they are getting involved with. A Mass Commercial organisation, who has absolutely no interest in hardcore, no intentions of supporting the music. An organisation, who until last week had totally @#%$ Hardcore off, until they realised they may lose a little bit of cash. An organisation who are just using you as their puppets for ONE night, and who will completely disgard you once they are finished. Because that's going to happen. And then it will be too late, your name will already tarnished with the reputation of just being along for the quick money making ride. It's not like any of you are going to get paid. There's only a couple of people who will. So you're basically risking your futures for expenses, which basically means nothing. And what do you get in return? Oh, to play to a bunch of cheesers who've wandered into the room for 5 minutes. Because no one who really appreciates Hardcore is gonna be there.

 

Yes, so there's a response. Yet someone else who's involved with Hardcore who thinks your plans are a joke. Lets see, oh look, you've got no hardcore in support at all. Think about that when you're sat in an empty room on NYE. Later kiddies.
