the first song I ever heard was Mircowaved, off the Pitchshifter.com album.

 

A few seconds of guitar twangs, with a growling bass undertone, then the guitar rift kicks in, and the drum machine [censored] blows the speakers. Legendary. Proper moshing music though, mind.

I've been to plenty of gigs but not for a few years now; the most memorable were:

Foo Fighters in Nottingham (about 1997)

Feeder, I think it was in Wolverhampton...? (about 1998)

 

Plus I saw loads of live acts in our students union, the best was a fairly obscure band called the Beekeepers (very energetic punky rock).

flakey dove, i think wub wub basically put in concisely, drum and bass metal. and it is indeed very fast energetic music, prob why i reeally like it, specially seeing as i'm a big fan of metal and a big DnBhead too.

I have been to Glasto a couple of times too, and seen a multitude of [censored] people, other amusing gigs I have to my name are placebo, dodgy, terrorvision.....

 

and I must say that supporting bon jovi were the mighty thunder and ....wait for it....
