I met Jay H & LiquidEyes last night and I have to say THIS IS PRECISELY THE REASON I SET THE SITE UP - for people like these.

 

Jay - it was absolutely top to meet you mate - i cant believe how relaxed & genuine you are - there's just too much to talk about and I hope we have lots of nights out together in the future. I cant believe I didnt meet up with you sooner - I believe you have been here since August!!! Thanks for the fags and the drink mate - I owe ya. Was really nice to hear your spot-on views about the site and to see that we have many common views on things.

 

Andy - again, top to meet you - I cant believe how much on the same wavelength we are about things - again, I hope we've got lots more opportunities to talk properly - must admit I was finding it harder and harder to hear in Yates' - perhaps I'm getting old! Many thank for the CDs you dished out - gonna listen to your Techno one in a minute. I cant wait for you to meet the other DJs on here - reckon you will get on amazingly well as you are also laid back and not up your own ar*e !

 

Thanks to Bunnykins who was at Yates' last night as well - I believe you have brought a huge amount of key people to the site. And thanks to all the other members for putting the word out - there are too many of you to list.

because I really do feel like progress has been made at these meets - its not just a meeting - we actually talk to each other and find out about each other and what makes us tick so we can all help each other out. Thats the buzz for me now - the buzz used to be stomping around like a monster near the DJ booth, jumping the decks and generally p*ssing everyone off around me because I'm sweating like a pig - now I get a much bigger buzz walking around the club and talking to people - maybe I'm getting old but I cant explain the euphoric feeling - tis amazin' ..........

Just refilled my two cd changer packs, (10 in all) with loads of new cd's..Mixmag, Commercial, and stuff , and Tony P's CD4 and Liquid's 'Funk on a stick'. These last two stand up very well against the others, and I think they are far superior in many ways...quality quality quaility!!

Agreed mate - I dont even know why I default to comparing CDs against other commercial ones in the shops - often the ones I recieve from the likes of Tony are far superior.

 

Liquid - I do love your Turbulent CD - its not the music I tend to go out clubbing too as I like my bouncy hard house but nontheless its a quality CD and very well put together - cant stop listening to it whilst I [censored] - really helping me focus! I hope we can secure you at one of our Dark Funky Tribal Techno House nights !!! Just gotta find the right venue/people etc... Just a question of time though I rek ...
