CTW Members el_captino Posted January 27, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted January 27, 2003 Haven't been registered on here long so u may / may not know me ... need your help / support tho .......... We can now proudly announce that Kemistry will be re-launching @ THE SPACE nightclub, Leeds in May this year !!! This is great news for all of us at Kemistry. Both ourselves and the venue are very excited by the prospect of this. We will be running on a Sunday afternoon, time and date yet to be confirmed, we do know that it will be a regular monthly event. As always we will be giving the local talent the break they deserve but aswell as that they will be getting the chance to play alongside some of the biggest names in the UK club scene. As you may well know The Space has 2 rooms, in the main room we will be banging out a mixture of Hard House, Hard Trance and NRG. The Second room we are still to decide what to put on. What we want to know from you is what DJs you would like to see in the hard room, plus what style you think we should have in the 2nd room, along with what DJs you would like to see in there. We are also very welcoming to ideas which you think would [censored], be it door prices, themes, opening times or whatever you wish to put forward to us. Please post all ideas / comments below, it really is appreciated ... Thanks, Kemistry. CTW Promotors SarahPVC Posted January 27, 2003 CTW Promotors Share Posted January 27, 2003 As for big name DJs - you cant go wrong with the likes of Farley, Glazby, Karim etc I would obviously like to see some of the CTW residents play alongside them! For the 2nd room it really depends on the crowd you would like to pull in - from a money making point of view a funky room is always good if you can get a regular following. From an experiemental point of view you could do what sacriledge in Notts do & try out different styles each time like D & B or tribal. Quote INCISION Leeds - 23rd Jan - Passion Records Tour Night!! CTW Members el_captino Posted January 27, 2003 Author CTW Members Share Posted January 27, 2003 You dont need a demo! Look @ his dates! LMAO! Haha ... I was thinking that but it's not just the fact whether they're good or not, we need to know what style they play etc. I've not personally heard them play so don't know what they're like, it's not always about 'what u know' in the clubscene, as sad as it is, sometimes it really is 'who u know'. Not that it's the case with JP & Jukesy, I know they're playing @ somz for BT, some proper talent on there so they muts be good I'm sure we won't be dissapointed, and besides, it's another CD to the collection Summit to listen to at [censored] Quote Kemistry web site launched: www.kemistry-leeds.com

Hey Sarah ... tbh it's looking like Karim for the launch night as the main headliner although we maybe looking at getting M Zone down whatd'ya think of M Zone ??? Summit different innit I think for the 1st few we may have to go with a firm crowd puller, the question is ... is it worth concentrating on the back room too much, as far as financial backing is concerned, when it's a Hard night, will people come just for the funky house or whatever or is it people that are coming for the hard stuff but like summit to chill out to, if that's the case then we may aswell put local up and coming but wicked funky DJs on and use the cash that would pay for a big funky name to get another big Hard name. That's where we can start to lose track of what it really is, a Hard Night !!! Quote Kemistry web site launched: www.kemistry-leeds.com
