I cant fault the device tony - i had an extensive look at one yesterday at an afterparty (and no, i wasnt bolloxed!) and have to say it knocked me off my feet - for its size i expected it to be priced at 300 or 400 - but its only 200 notes!! Expect the digital camera market to suddenly get a LOT cheaper - babies like this are gonna take over and everyone else will have to follow suit regarding price.

 

And I thought digi cameras were already bloody good value for money!

hmm it depends what sony were talking, it only tends to be their higher priced cams that can cut the mustard.

 

the bloke who does pics on a club down here has a CD mavica, (yes i know i said mavica) and if we take a similar shot we both end up agreeing mine look better?

 

but, as with most things, it really doesnt matter, theonly thing that pisses me off is a badly compressed image thats fuzzy around the edges.

They do these little babies in Black & Silver too ! Why buy one when you can have the entire collection !! These little beauties will become collectors items / antiques in the future - mark my words!!! Make SURE you buy 2 and keep one boxed! lol

I have this camera !! Will be taking it out with clubbing for the 1st time this Friday. Hope the pics come out well. The ones I have taken so far are pretty good for a cam of that size - it's soooooo small!

As a clubbing cam I love it. I have it in a holder on my belt - it's so small and light I forget it's there

I wouldn't say the flash is [censored]. OK, it does pick up the smoke sometimes 'cos the flash is either on or off, but its a small £200 camera. You are paying for size here, not a huge array of features, and it's not an expensive camera really.

 

Do you want a big cam, or something that you can forget is there.

 

You might also take a look at the Fuji 401 or Minolta Dimage Xi (is pretty small but I've not seen the piccies it produces).
