Are these the shittest words in clubland?

No. I can't come up with a better word than STOMP or STOMPING for dancing in a way that is to stomp.

Someone who is stomping, is not shaking their stuff, doing their thang, raving, grooving, gyrating, bouncing, moshing, or whatever that shit is that the podium dancers seem to do (at polysexual), which i could only describe as stretching.

i wouldn't know how to describe stomping, but looking like you need a shit whilst standing on hot coals comes to mind.

i love stomping, but these days its not often that the music, my mood, and my demising fitness is in the right balance to have a really good stomp tongue.gif

Stomp is a brilliant word. Stomping is a way of expressing how you feel about music, dancing is good but it just doesnt have that extra bit of oomph. The harder you stomp, the more you're enjoying yourself.

There are many forms of expressive dancing from "tapping your feet" and "nodding your head" all the way up to "wiggling your arse" and "really letting yourself go". Stomping tops the lot IMO

Whenever I go out now to clubs with some really hard banging tunes I can always picture Crill stomping and bouncing around like Zebedee on prozac.

Now RANDOM....such a boring word, used when people cant think of an original word to say.

Stomping is the antithesis of sophistication and isn't sexy.

Dancing is a way of expressing yourself and I prefer something a little more graceful.

Well Mark EG's set was many things...fast paced, amusing, extremely hard etc, 'sophisticated' and 'graceful' are not words I would choose to describe it though and therefore doing a normal dance to that kind of music would look rather silly...besides my poor old back just can't take my old style of dancing anymore so i've had to move onto something different, and the best word I can think of to describe it is stomp...what would you prefer?

Also, since dancing is as you quite rightly say a way of expressing yourself, do you not think that since everyone is an individual (and therefore will have different opinions and ideas about how to express themselves) that they should be free to do so without criticism?

Just my opinion.
