Great answer, murder the people with the mental disorder.

where does it say that most/every peadophile has mental problems?

does a young man that lusts after the much older woman have mental problems? does a man that likes dressing up and acting as a baby for kicks have mental problems? does a man/woman that enjoys severe pain in a sex act have mental problems? what about those that enjoy sex where an animal is involved? (sick i know blushing.gif )

it doesnt always come down to what goes on in your head..........it comes down to what goes on in your pants sad.gif

i might get turned on by something you think is strange, such as strangulation or wierd roleplay.......but you might get turned on by something i think strange (BTW i dont get turned on by that blink.gif )

A disorder.

I was simply making a point about the barbarism that seemingly ordinary folk would inflict upon another person. I'm all for treatment, I am definately against the "kill em and that'll sort the problem out for good!" approach.

Can you describe to me how the need, expressed by some people, to have sex with a child is not a mental disorder or a problem?

For the record what goes on between between consenting adults is not an issue, it's a healthy and normal activity.

you see there is the difference, i didnt say it wasnt a problem because if its not i dont know what is ohmy.gif my comment was whose to say that all these people that do it do it because they are ill not because thats what they get there stimulation from, its amazing how much of a drive sex has on people, it all comes down to power and these people have power over the children they abuse where they lack power in the rest of there lives, or past it was a just another theory coming from a different angle rolleyes.gifblushing.gif

im on the same side as you mark sorry.gif

yes, it is definately an illness & they wil more than likely keep doing it, but how do you treat them, what punishment is sufficient for them???

Not being any kind of expert in the psychology of these people, or the methods for treating them, I have absolutely no idea what punishments/treatments would work?

I also have no idea of what is a sufficient punishment for them either, I am more than happy to leave this to the people who make the rules and guidelines.

I am certain that killing someone is not the answer (I'm not implying that is what you meant, it's just something I'm against and feel the need to express my view).

How would killing a child molester make someone feel better about what has happened?

How would that make someone a "better" person than the child molester?

Will it make people feel that their children are safer?

Would being sentenced to death be a deterrant for child molesters?

Would the death sentence just make child molesters kill a child in an effort to remain undetected?

I do have an idea that treatment is something that is in need of further exploration, but it is often seen as a weak and lenient approach to take in light of what has been done.

no, you are not alone, I think the peeps on the site with kids, will probably feel the same, as we look at it, as if it was one of our children. so I guess it is natural for us to respond that way. grin.gif

its not at all a nice thing to say but i dont think they deserve to breath the same air as us, they ruin so many lifes of young children and alot of them never recover from the experience and what gets me is most of them cant see whats wrong with it, and then they get off on watching young children and the only thing they get is a slap on the wrist and a dont do it again
