Groovster if you're on about a housey track that was out recently, that's been played over the radio, on the Essential Selection, and out in the clubs, then it's DEFINITELY male as it's Fab For feat Robert Owens. It's a cover of...

 

...the original, i.e. the first one, it's a female voice and by Indeep (I think), back in the early 80s.
