only way out after midnight is by taxi, really. taxi to the centre of Leeds would probably take £25 from your pocket, and there's no black cabs, they're all unfortunately minicabs, which i don't really like. it's also difficult to get one; i used to have to wait up to an hour sometimes, this is at 2 in the morning.

yeah well i msure if we can find a few peopel needing taxi's bak to leeds can share and split it, last time i got stranded in wakey i got mugged

that's [censored]! hope you're OK. i know what you mean though it's not a town i feel comfortable walking about at night in.

 

i *expect* to find it difficult to get home, because i live at emley (near the TV mast) and that's practically in the middle of nowhere, but it's a right, not a privilege, to be able to get home after a night out, especially if you live in a big city like Leeds!! they're wanting to make Wakefield a good city to go out in, so why not actually stick some public transport on and get some decent law enforcement, that's what's always [censored] me right off about wakefield.

I have already said a number of times i am quite happy to give people a lift to & from Wakefield on saturday!!!

If no-one is brave enough to get in my car tho thats another matter!
