i've not DJed much but have a good idea what is going on and i'd like to think i can roughly beatmatch. the problem is that most i've spoke to want to upgrade their decks from whatever direct-drive decks they have to 1210s. is it worth me taking the intermediate step and buying two DD decks and a mixer for £250 - £350 or will i just want technics as soon as i get them?

incidentally, if any of you have two 1210s and a DJM 600 for £70, I'd be interested. thats a very reasonable price.
