CTW Members Ginge Posted April 4, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted April 4, 2004 QUOTE (Chris Hutchinson @ Apr 4 2004, 12:42) QUOTE (Ginge @ Apr 4 2004, 07:50) Not really keen on vocals, I go to clubs to listen to choons...not some idiot warbling over a banging baseline and generally singing off key. Keep the vocals for cheesey pop bollox. really? I had you down as a 'hands in the air and sing-along-to-the-track' kinda guy :-P Remind me to slap you when I see you next. CTW Members Daydreamer Posted April 4, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted April 4, 2004 I don't mind 'em, as long as they work well Some tracks can be really made by decent vocals, while others can be turned to absolute shite. It all depends on the track and the vocals themselves. Ian C gave a perfect example of when vocals really, really work: Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes. As he said: Faultless!
