bollox - the batteries for my mouse just died

they seem pointless to me because, you have to have the little box thing on you desk anyway for the mouse to send the signal to, and there heavy, and the battery runs out.

my cordless always used to run out when i was doin something really important, like ina counter strike clan match or something
