Yep, afraid so. Don't get me wrong - they are stunning, but most are under russian mafia control. As are the strip / shag joints. Seriously though, go to the main bridge, then walk back towards the main square. On your right somewhere in the streets you will find the golden tiger bar (it doesn't look like a bar/pub), but the beer there is the best I have EVER tasted. Also the locals are starting to get really pissed off with Brits going overboard on the booze - so keep drunk and cool, you will be fine. BTW - most of the hotels have house whores - you can charge them to your room as 'room service'!

Will defo make a point of visiting the golden tiger bar. Any clubs worth going to? I not expecting anything special - just somewhere that's gonna play half decent music

Well I was in the dusted arch dancing till about 4.00am when my legs gave up on me. I thought Danny and Gavin white in there were awesome. 2funky was subded, but then i guess he was leaving the stage open for Stromin' Norman Jay...who was on good form as ever.

 

Dusted on the 2nd may at Pacha should be a killer cos 2funky will be on headlining, as well as Gavin, and last month he blew the house down with seriously building funky beats.

Went last may on a rugby tour. Very good fun. No clubs to speak of though - more of a bar/cafe and pub cluture.
